Director - Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion
The position oversees a staff of human resource professionals who manage all human resource matters involving IFAS TEAMS, faculty and OPS employees: including, tenure, promotion, and permanent status; recruitment and hiring; policy development; performance issues and disciplinary actions; and Federal and State benefit and retirement counseling. Position oversees the diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility initiatives as they relate to recruitment and search processes for IFAS including assisting extension with IFAS Civil Rights . Position serves as the IFAS/HR liaison with the UF Provost’s Office, University General Counsel, and the Vice President, UF Human Resource Services.
Associate Director - Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion
Susan directs faculty events for IFAS, including the IFAS faculty tenure, permanent status, and promotion process and the IFAS Mid-career Progress Assessment program and functions as the college administrator for the UF Online Promotion and Tenure System. She directs the following programs: Faculty Performance Evaluations, Sustained Performance Evaluation for faculty, Faculty Professional Development Leave, Faculty Enhancement Opportunity Awards, Emeritus Status. She prepares state faculty offer letters and manages the IFAS New Faculty Professional Development program.
Employee Relations Specialist III - UF Human Resources - IFAS Satellite Office
Catherine is responsible for coordination of disciplinary actions for IFAS staff (USPS and TEAMS) employees, counsels supervisors regarding employee performance or conduct issues, and assists with related correspondence. She interprets UF policies and regulations relative to standards for performance. Catherine investigates disciplinary situations involving staff, and counsels employees who have received discipline regarding their rights of appeal or grievance. She also assists employees and supervisors with collective bargaining issues and grievances and is the liaison for the FMLA process.
Human Resources Specialist III
Anthony handles the processing of all personnel actions for faculty, staff (TEAMS and USPS), and temporary (OPS) appointments, including new hire appointments, job changes, retirements, resignations, terminations, leaves of absence, leave cashouts, and additional payments. He analyzes problems and recommends corrective action. He interprets policy and procedure questions from departments and other units regarding personnel, leave, time worked, employment, and appointments. He also serves as college-level expert on PeopleSoft issues that relate to human resources.
HR Specialist II
Debbie is responsible for all benefits enrollment for state (non-federal) faculty and staff (TEAMS and USPS), including changes to existing coverages related to beneficiaries and dependents; she serves as the main resource person for IFAS employees for all UF fringe benefit programs. As the office administrator she handles all office administrative functions including budget, travel, perquisites, and ordering.
Manager, Human Resources
Janet handles a broad range of faculty and staff services working in partnership with other campus departments, IFAS unit leaders, and Center Directors. Areas of responsibility: Assist with tenure, promotion and third year progress assessment processes; provide guidance and support to the IFAS 9 month faculty initiative; provide training to faculty and staff on various HR related topics; and support the Graduate Assistantship and Post Doc employment processes.
Dana L. LeCuyer
Human Resources Specialist III
Dana assists with faculty recruitment and provides leadership and assistance to search and screening committees for state and county extension positions. Oversees all county extension job positions and works closely with applicants to ensure they meet all requirements. Dana is also responsible for advertising positions and maintaining Web Sites, and serves as a member of the office support team.
Human Resources Generalist II
Haley assists with the onboarding process for IFAS units, including creating new positions, reviewing job postings, and processing electronic personnel actions (ePAF) . She answers policy and procedure questions from departments and other units regarding personnel, leave, time worked, employment and appointments, as well as routine Benefits questions. She also assists with the faculty posting, search process and search committee meetings, and with the Extension Search Process, as needed.
