Final Clearance Before Faculty/TEAMS Separations

SUBJECT: UF/IFAS; Final Clearance Before Faculty/TEAMS Separations
In addition to the formal exit interview, a separating faculty/TEAMS must meet with his/her unit administrator prior to departure. A faculty/A&P is expected to leave complete files covering his/her work in progress; provide an up-to-date narrative progress report or annual report; and turn in office key(s), credit cards and all property checked out by him/her. Equipment acquired by contract or grant funds may be transferred to other institutions if all conditions cited in of the University Handbook on Business Procedures are met. The separating faculty/A&P is expected to leave all other equipment and/or state inventory in place. Facilities, equipment, and materials should be left in good order and in compliance with University Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
